Location:Casula, NSW
Client:Liverpool City Council
Casula Highschool appointed Terra Civil as their principal contractor, responsible for the end to end delivery of an extensive remediation project of the school’s property.
Located on school property the project presented a number of unique challenges not least of which was the fact that access could only be gained for a short 6 week period during the schools’ summer break a time when most contractors typically take their annual leave.
Terra Civil rose to the challenge, conducting extensive pre-planning with both Casula Council and Casula High School, creating a detailed project plan and ensuring that all sub-contractors were locked in well ahead of the anticipated start date.
Despite a very tight 6 week deadline and a variety of challenges imposed by both the weather and project location Terra Civil brought the project in under time and on budget.
The project involved detailed excavation and reshaping of the area to improve and complement the landscaping surrounds. Construction of footpaths, installation of electric gates, extensive service potholing, creation of an aboriginal garden and general landscaping.
