Location: Liverpool NSW
Client:Liverpool City Council
Liverpool City Council appointed Terra Civil as their principal contractor, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of extensive remediation and revegetation of the Davy Robinson Reserve as part of the council’s ongoing campaign to improve the cities connected to the river.
The site location posed a number of unique environmental constraints including flora and fauna preservation, tree protection issues, avoiding water pollution, and the need to work with the tides.
Terra Civil rose to the challenge, conducting extensive pre-planning with Liverpool Council resulting in a plan that encompassed hiring an arborist to oversee all tree removal, use of designated fuel areas, and a floating boom to guard against water pollution and protect marine life.
Work schedules were carefully orchestrated to work in with the tides
Working to a very tight 6-week deadline and overcoming the multitude of environmental challenges imposed by the project location Terra Civil brought the project in under time and on budget
